Why a business-brained copywriter should be your first pick

Finding a copywriter for your business can be a daunting task; you want to be sure that you’re going to make the right decision and find the perfect writer who will capture the heart of your business and really help you to smash through your business goals. With so many different kinds of copywriters out there, you’re spoilt for choice but there’s one thing for sure: you want a copywriter that is business-minded.

It’s true that anyone can try their hand at copywriting in fact, it’s a little like getting up in front of a crowd to make a speech. Content is one cog in the wheel of a communications strategy and it all needs to be working together – if you’re hiring a copywriter only to write surface-level content, you can be sure that you’re wasting both your time and your money.

Any copywriter worth their salt will be looking at your business holistically to understand how they can create specific, targeted and realistic content to drive sales, increase brand awareness and make you an authority in your industry. After all, what’s the point in creating content if you don’t receive a return?
